Currently you can specialize either in finance or in marketing in your last year of BMS. Sorry for the late reply BMM needs more creativity according to their subjects. Their presentations are also very creative. BMS being related to management they have more of theory and the projects are related to magement. Same way if a Bms student does Bmm he can make a good analysis and theory on the project Well i may be wrong in what im saying But different people , different opinion!
Business-education New member. I have completed my graduation from BMM. It totally depends on your interest, I know that students get confused regarding their career and for that reason, i would tell some important aspects related to BMM. If you can relate yourself then,go for it. BMM will accept you if you are creative and passionate always think out of the blue.
BMM covers wide array of subjects So, it opens number of gates and from that you can choose the field which excites you. BMM studies is very easy but,internships are more important than marks. Or Perhaps building applications? Narrow your interests down and pick a degree to coincide with that. I can do Economics on the other side. There will be light maths to cover matrices and logic. BA Economics in case you want to try to get into finance from the Arts side without maths.

It is more to do with investments and a little less with Accounts as against a normal BCom. You can couple it with a CFA degree and get into investments and research in finance.
However it is not a degree which is sure to land you a job — i. Being on the lookout for jobs in finance I would know. Not sure on the latter. Google away. I was just going through a lot more courses and came across Financial Engineering. J somaiya offer this?

Sir i belong to arts stream. Just appeared my 12th waiting for the result. I am confused between bmm bms and pyschology. I am not sure about my interest.
But only that i wana earn good in less time. I hv heard failures in each 3 stream. Which of these 3 are good to earn fame and cash? I think of switching from science to commerce now. I am going to appear for Delhi University entrance for the same.

Thanks to a commenter for pointing that out. So by that count it is a good course which may actually help you to develop a true skill. I did the same thing. I refused to do anything maths related and therefore avoided Accounts when in my first couple of years in BMS. It was only later while studying economics and finance that I realised that I was a big fan of it.

I think this differs from college to college. Some universities may have rules against this given that there are always limited number of seats for BMS. Check with your college. Sir with due respect. Instead of demotivating. People on the internet and telling them not to opt for this course pls give ways to take best out of this course sir.
My story. So I changed it and took up. Bms course and was motivated untill I read this blog. There is nothing. May not be knowing about outside world but syllabus has changed and things. Are changing pls. Do not demotivate for taking up course. If it was not of any use the univ. Could have scrap it all the way A confident student can do wonders. Fair point. The advantage of this course is being given an overview into different fields. BMS may help you in that regard because of the number of subjects covered over a short period of time. For two consecutive days, my brother and I visited different colleges to collect the admission forms.

I want to earn fast money and you know what — all hot girls are in BMS. Why should I waste my young hood? I will get into college because I have applied only in top 3 colleges of South Mumbai. If my parents disagree, I will quit my studies.

Filling the forms online and submitting them online saved a lot of time of us and it saved the usage of paper too.
