For this fight I would recommend bringing at least 1, arrows or bullets, and a few bandages to take care of the little damage you do take. All and all well worth the time and effort. Good luck and happy hunting. Comment by well i found him but when i talk to him he just tells me "my watch is eternal, mortal" and the only option is goodbye? Comment by Just wanna say as a Frost DK this guy takes forever to kill cause he resists your howling blasts and Frost Strikes what shoulda been maybe a 5m fight turned into a 25m fight.
Comment by IbFeeshin Stupid description of how easy it is to solo time! Ok, so I was getting herbs cuz I inscribe stuffz, and I saw dis big dragon and he was like, "Joo ish mortal! He prolly hash shiny things and so I like, "Ok nice lady, I kill you now! I wash like, ok I just wait for pet to kill and make you go die when you not reflect and he wash like, "Ok, I dead now, here shinies for you sir k yes? And then I selled stuffz.
Comment by Soloable as a mage with a deep frost spec. He is completely immune to arcane and extremely resistant to frost spells, so expect a minute kill if any fellow mage wishes to try this. Comment by Drakkena Soloed him as an 80 BM hunter the other day. So, I got him and since recently the last few times I've tried this I was killed by roaming Alliance who wanted his juicy corpse for their own. Finally getting him all to myself, I'll say he went down fairly easy.
Though for me, I'm not a raid armored Hunter, I have your normal items Swiftarrow armor yeah, shoot me But it's fun and a challenge when you're not all Ubered out. Not Spirit Beast, he was in stable and I was too lazy to use Call Stable who put up the best of fights. Makes me remember why I loved my felines. Mostly to replenish Mana and such. Comment by i will try it solo with my Main - lock. Deep Demo and some points on Affli and destro should take him down. Comment by Piece a cake as ret pala at lvl Took me 10 minutes.
Alot easier then Onyxia if you move out of the manastorms :P. Comment by So what is her respawn time? Comment by Feral druid tank at lvl A completely trivial fight. That worried me at first, but my worries were quickly availed after I started the fight.
I didn't even bother to move out of the mana storms after the first one or two. The person playing that paladin must have been staring at the screen blankly, with drool running off their chin. The fight lasted just about 5 minutes. The gold and loot were alright, but honestly not worth the trip out there. Comment by if u see the spirt of him does that mean he is dead and have to wait for respawn? Comment by Anyone soloed him as a shadow priest? I've tried aggroing him once several months ago, but I regretted it later as I was just doing something in Azshara really hard to recall, as there isn't much to do there anyway and heard his yells as he wiped someone.
He wiped me too in a couple of minutes and I wasn't even able to find him again quite strange, considering his huge size. This week I've tried Onyxia and even though she wasn't a walk in the park mainly because of annoying whelps and some mana issues , she went down and payed for my repairs. So wondering if there is any other challenge such as Azuregos that might be soloed by my class and spec. Comment by Any Lore About this Npc?
Comment by phemice Just solo'd him as an 80 ret pally. Main thing to remember is keep the debuff cleansed because it will drain your mana quick if you dont pay attention. Comment by As much as I hate to ask this, I can't find Azuregos anywhere. I understand now that he is still around because of the recent comments that were left about other people killing him solo. But is there some way to find him? Like an addon maybe? Thanks in advance. Comment by He is there, I've been checking back and forth looking for him also but haven't found him..
He'll eventually pop up and is an easy solo for me as an 80 Hunter. Comment by reurra Resto druid and feral tank can duo him at Comment by Kavex Found him when looking for herbs and jumped onto my 80 prot pally, soled just fine but was about a 20 min fight.
Was walking around in the same area as the spirit was. Comment by Kahraman Soloed as a 80 lvl Enhancement Shaman. Fight took about 7 minutes. Comment by cain soloed as a 80 blood dk was cake even with the allys trying to mess me up by pulling adds into me. Comment by Repaxan I've been hunting this guy, but someone seems to get him before me, because he's never up. Anyway if this is as easy as Onyxia to solo, hunters don't even need to use Mend Pet.
Comment by Amrasillias If you are a hunter and want to solo him take notice that he is immune to arcane damage so the main shot for a BM hunter is rendered useless. Was specced BM when I encountered him last night. He does a summon that is similar to Cyanigosa in VH which is mildy annoying.
Other than that it is really simple. Pet keeps aggro while my aggro wiped everytime I was summoned by her. In hindsight it would have been a lot faster if I had my surv spec active. Now it took me 8 minutes with 2 or 3 aspect of viper cycles. Comment by Just solo'd him, StormScale for those of you hunting him.
Easy peasy. Just wanted to say he dropped g 49s, not the g listed. Comment by 3. Generally just epic gear Story: Doing discovery achievement in Azshara, and I saw the two spirits running in each other I was like, let's just agro it, so I spoke to it, and it charged at me, so I ran off for 30 seconds and it didn't reset, so I was like, I'll try and solo it, so I did.
Tactic: Keep Flameshock up. Then just keep refresing and lava bursting when you can. It'll take minutes cos of the reflects and CC but it's very doable. I only died close near the end cos i refelcted flame shock by accident and it was crit dotting me in a CC, but I just healed back up. Lots of items. Worth doing weekly. Comment by In Cataclysm Azshara will become a low-level zone.
This old world raid boss will likely disappear. If you want those old world recipes and boe epics, get them while you can.
Comment by A nice little way to make money is to go farm those Azure Whelps. Because Azshara will become a low level zone it is likely they will become unobtainable afterwards. Farm em and keep em till after Cat comes out, then Sell em. Comment by matoh now after Onyxia is updated as lvl 80 raid boss,, Azuregos will be main source for gold from boss soloing,, if you get bored doing daily.
Will report back after the fight to say whether it was an epic fail or not. I couldn't even find her, let-alone solo her. I only managed to find her Spirit after about 40mins of searchling for the real thing. Comment by His spirit form says "My watch is eternal, mortal. Comment by knarel what's her spawn timer? Used my BM specc so that my bear wouldn't loose aggro and then just mended him about every 20 sec and switched between Dragonhawk and Viper.
Can take a while though. Comment by Kujo Can he be kited far or is he leashed? Comment by Jerakth Easily solo'd as a tanking paladin in 80 blues. You'll want to use blessing of wisdom throughout the fight to help combat his aura. Divine Plea should never fall off of you.
Keep moving out of his manastorm ability and make sure to cleanse spam his attack speed debuff. He does stuns and teleports you to him occasionally but at worst it's only a few seconds of manastorm time. Because when I talk to 'Spirit of Azuregos' he only says: ''My watch is eternal, mortal. Is this because he has already been killed, or is he removed? Comment by raebirth Solo killed today at on Khadgar US server as a feral tank specced druid in mixed epics.
Just my buffs, took about 7 minutes without using berserk, and Azuregos did appx. Frost breath and mana storm were the two most damaging attacks, followed by regular melee. Buff Azuregos! Hes not a hard fight Seal of Light and Divine Plea hes just a pain when he takes your mana, blood elfs can use there radical to gain some back. Just keep cleansing his one magic attack it will only take about 30 mins the whole fight.
He droped g for me not g. If you find that this keeps happening, switching to Seal of Righteousness may be better especially if you're planning to solo this as Ret! Comment by nemspyda The biggest challenge in soloing Azuregos is getting him before someone else does.
At one point I got up and answered the phone during the fight - if he didn't teleport behind you so you end up facing the wrong way you could go afk and let autoattack finish him off.
No real strategy involved - I just kept my lacerates up for extra damage and mangled and mauled till he was dead. Comment by yoshi Just soloed him a few days ago on my lvl 78 BM hunter. Very easy fight Took me about 30 mins. Comment by Vaugn Easily soloable by a discipline priest in PvE spec and gear. Mana is a bit of an issue so you can't throw away your mana needlessly, but it's still an easy if time-consuming fight. Comment by sarsa ok,can someone tell me how to talk to this guy,i mean whenever i put my mouse on him it always shows mr the combat sign the little sword ,i am on a aq quest with the shards, but still cant talk to him,any suggestions,i would be very gratefull.
If not i will try later, whenever i see him alive. Comment by paullaverick Just incase a fellow Warlock would like to solo this guy, its quite easy with a Felguard.
Send in the felguard and stand to the side of the dragon. Every so often he drags you in, so as you start, set up a portal so when he does, portal out quick. He also puts up a spell reflect, stop casting. The is a nice chance to heal your Fel Guard if needed, seen as you can't do anything else. Of course set up dots prior to this so they can tick away nicely.
If you take damage, use Drain Life when reflect is down A note on aggro, not sure when it is but your aggro seems to reset, but not the demon's, so don't hold back when the reflect is down.
Not really hard, and took me about 6mins, the portal duration Good luck fellow Warlocks! Comment by chiraku :D just soloed this boss, My pet could easy tank this boss. I just needed to use mend pet allot but still could kill him. Comment by 2manned very easy today on Sylvanas EU. Jigi - prot warr Miryani - resto drood drop - g, gems, epics, greens, q item.
Comment by Was doing some old missed quests on my lvl 80 shadowpriest in azshara when i heard Azuregos respawn. Looked him up here and saw other people soloing him, so what the heck i gave it a shot.
No mana, no damage, no vampiric healing. Did a few quests while the debuff wore off, then went back and tried again, now knowing what to do. And it was a walk in the park. Never got low on mana or health this attempt. Easily soloable by even cloth players. Oh and the g he dropped, plus the bunch of greenies and blues made it well worth it :P. Comment by This guy is insane. In a good way. I love my insane dragons. Out of the "something-like-fifteen" items he dropped I won 0! Comment by fyfaendeluxe Killed him this morning, Pretty much faceroll as icc25 geared SV hunter.
Comment by I just soloed him with a gs and a lvl 60 rogue who did dps, still a solo, in my opinion. The rogue died twice during the encounter. Took several minutes, was not in danger of dying at all at any time. The ability that brings you into melee is not a problem, since I just disengaged and was back at range, the frequency of that ability is less than the CD of disengage.
Definitely worth farming. I will be back in 5 days, and not sharing with a noob. Comment by Easily soloable as a ret pally, took me about 4mins to get him down. Comment by Octayvius All the world dragons are being removed in cata, get the items you want while you can. Comment by Loxias I soloed this one with really bad gear and was a little bit dfficult, I wiped first time and then I killed him.
The most difficult part is when he enrages because I didn't have time to heal myself and refresh the diseases but with some potions and cooldowns I killed him. Comment by Killed him today, as of patch 4. I am a lvl 80 Retribution paladin and i didn't have any real issues with him. Due to slackyness and tiredness i had to pop Lay on Hands though.
If anyone is interested. Comment by Magnusmalum Would this be possible using a BM hunter low 60s with a turtle? It took probably minutes. Never had any mana issues. Got low on health a couple times, but nothing too serious.
Used earth and fire elementals while off cooldown where possible. Not really sure if the reward was worth the time, but it was fun to try it.
Popular player opinion has been a mix of excitement and wistful nostalgia when it comes to the zone of Azshara , one of the least-utilized yet most gorgeous zones from vanilla WoW.
Some players are ecstatic that the zone is receiving a quest overhaul; others fear that the goblin landscaping will ruin the beautiful scenery unique to the zone.
In the latest of a string of Cataclysm previews, game designers Craig Amai and Dave Kosak discuss the zone's changes and design in the upcoming expansion. The lore of the region, the design of the quests and landscape, the whereabouts of Azuregos and the general concept and story behind the zone of Azshara are all addressed, as well as a peek into what went on behind the scenes to actually redesign the landscape into a functional, fun and still hauntingly beautiful place to level.
Check out the official Cataclysm page for the full article -- and while we're on a nostalgia trip, take a look back at Azshara quests that you should finish before the new expansion hits, and check out the gallery of Azshara as it exists today.

Brazil on Thursday became the first country to allow imports of flour made with genetically modified wheat, though shipments of the new variety developed in Argentina are unlikely anytime soon due to opposition from Brazilian millers and global consumers.
The decision may spur a broader global discussion about genetically modified wheat as prices rise and concerns grow that more severe weather could threaten food security. Genetically modified GMO soybeans and corn have long been accepted on global markets, but are primarily fed to livestock rather than humans.

Comment by I just can't find him to start the quest and clues? Comment by lol he looks like he tried to attack an elemental porcupine :P. Comment by OneTrueGenesis I kinda feel bad for him because of some crazy people players raided him just for his loot in Classic,Burning Crusader, and Wotlk.
All he wants to do is study the rich magic shorelines and take in what artifacts remain from the sundering. You know, I'm so glad people stop bullying him in cataclysm. Comment by Alliance can't even see him due to phasing. Comment by LordVarbaro I wonder why he isnt present at the new Blue dragonflight leader election during the legendary staff questline.
Comment by why cant i see him? Comment by Volleynova Had this boss back on farm during Classic, people would actually tell our guild if this dragon was up. Comment by stellaspike Did all the lead in quests for this, got him to spawn and all that, didn't get the farewell minnow quest : he's just sitting there smirking.
